Description
The Barn Maintenance role maintains the operational condition of a poultry processing plant, including process equipment, systems, and physical assets. Responsibilities include monitoring preventive maintenance, repairing broken equipment, supporting egg-flow operations, communicating with production and process managers, overseeing the process area when managers are absent, maintaining tools and parts inventory, reporting food-safety and quality issues, and complying with FDA, USDA, biosecurity, and food-defense requirements. The role requires a high school education or GED, poultry-industry maintenance experience, physical ability to lift and work in varying conditions, and availability for weekend and holiday hours.
