Description
The Senior Loan Processor prepares and processes mortgage loan files, coordinates third-party services, validates applications and documentation, updates loan origination systems, supports underwriting and closing, and manages a pipeline of 25 or more loans. The role also trains and coaches Loan Processors and branch staff, serves as a subject matter expert for the Loan Origination System, and may provide an opportunity to become a licensed Originator. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least seven years of related processing, underwriting, or equivalent experience, strong mortgage banking and compliance knowledge, and proficiency with mortgage systems.
