State Steel Supply Co. is hiring a Day Shift Laser Operator to set up and process work orders on a Laser Table Machine, cut material according to specifications, perform maintenance and preventative care, keep the work area clean, and load and unload processed material with an overhead crane. The role works Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, with exposure to climate temperatures and noise, and requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting materials up to 60 pounds. Applicants need a valid driver’s license, basic math and computer skills, one to two years of laser table operation experience, and the ability to read instructions, use hand tools, and measure accurately.
