Description
Ascend Performance Materials is hiring Processor Interns for its Chocolate Bayou (CHB) site. The internship develops skills for a Processor role through hands-on chemical-plant work, including monitoring and maintaining unit operations, supporting start-ups and shutdowns, isolating and decontaminating equipment, assisting with readings and ESSH procedures, and coordinating maintenance repairs. Interns are assigned to a specific unit, report to a Shift Lead or Operations Supervisor, and must be pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Process Technology with graduation planned by May, August, or December 2026. Full-time employment is not guaranteed but may be considered based on performance and available openings.
