AWS is hiring a Procurement Category Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies for general contractor and construction-services procurement supporting data-center capacity planning, construction, and business expansion in Japan. The role manages supplier and contractor relationships, category data and metrics, contract execution and post-execution management, supplier performance reviews, and procurement process innovation, while requiring strategic sourcing, negotiation, analysis, and stakeholder-management skills. The position requires at least five years of procurement experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and experience with data-analysis tools; business travel of up to 10% may be required.
