The Procurement Engineer sources, evaluates, and purchases materials, equipment, and services for civil construction or engineering projects. The role manages suppliers and subcontractors, purchase orders and contracts, cost analysis, budgets, negotiations, delivery schedules, logistics, supplier performance, vendor documentation, and inventory control. Candidates need a civil engineering degree or diploma, at least five years of procurement experience in civil construction, knowledge of construction materials, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
