Description

XNRGY Climate Systems is hiring an Industrial Engineering/Sourcing Engineer to evaluate, source, and qualify materials, components, tooling, and suppliers for advanced manufacturing. The role analyzes engineering drawings, technical specifications, bills of materials, supplier capabilities, costs, and supply-market risks; supports procurement, supplier qualification, new product introduction, production ramp-up, and continuous improvement; and requires up to 20% domestic and international travel. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a closely related field and at least five years of progressive experience in procurement engineering, supplier sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing engineering.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related engineering field
Required Previous Experiences: At least five years of progressive experience in procurement engineering, supplier sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing environment
Experience conducting RFQ/RFP processes, supplier sourcing, and supplier negotiations for engineered components or manufactured products
Experience analyzing cost structures, TCO, should-cost modeling, and value analysis or value engineering
Experience working with manufacturing components and suppliers, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bills of materials
Experience applying engineering principles to assess supplier manufacturing processes, technical capabilities, and production readiness
Experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on sourcing and supplier selection
Experience supporting new product introduction or production ramp-up activities
Experience supporting supplier qualification, technical assessments, corrective actions, and structured quality or product development processes
Experience using ERP systems and data analysis tools to manage procurement, supplier, cost, or supply chain data
