Description
The Aerospace Procurement Engineer coordinates sourcing, operations, design engineering, the supply base, and industry experts to support the design, production, testing, and qualification of aerospace and defense products. The role analyzes technical data and supplier capabilities, recommends suppliers and design changes, facilitates trade-offs and standardization, and leads cross-functional teams solving issues related to producibility, quality, inspection, cost, mistake-proofing, testing, reliability, and affordability. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, operations experience, technical communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to obtain a security clearance, with up to 50% travel. The full-time salary range is $95,900 to $178,100, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
