Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking a procurement leader to oversee more than $50 million in direct and indirect purchasing for its Optical Solutions Division. The role manages procurement metrics, supplier performance and qualification, master supply agreements, ERP development and training, ISO 9001 externally provided-process certification, precious-metal logistics, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, ITAR, trade compliance, and supplier-diversity requirements. It also manages the procurement department and supervises buyers, while handling supplier negotiations, purchasing operations, training, procedures, and cost-reduction initiatives. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or an equivalent field and at least 10 years of purchasing experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment using an ERP system are required.
