The role sources, negotiates, and purchases machinery, equipment, raw materials, packaging, parts, services, and supplies; analyzes supplier performance and price trends; prepares requests for proposals and bid packages; and manages orders through delivery and payment. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4 years of professional experience, or a related master's degree with 2 years of experience, along with defense-industry procurement experience and knowledge of LMAP and FAR/DFAR acquisition policies. Compensation ranges from $53,900 to $139,100 depending on the geographic zone, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
