Description
The Procurement Specialist sources, negotiates, and purchases machinery, equipment, raw materials, parts, services, and supplies for United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command and related aviation support organizations. The role analyzes supplier data and price trends, prepares requests for quotes and purchase orders, manages supplier relationships and contract closeout, and mitigates contract-related risks. It requires at least two years of supply chain experience or one year of procurement experience, a U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance, travel, and strong communication and organizational skills. The position is based at Pope Air Force Base in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and offers a full-time salary range of $65,200 to $121,200 plus benefits.
