Procurement Specialist at Scottish Government OGD Recruitment

The Scottish Government is seeking Core Scottish Government employees for a permanent lateral transfer into a Procurement Portfolio Specialist role within the Corporate and Professional Services Collaborative Procurement Team. The specialist will lead procurement strategies and manage the full procurement cycle for low-to-medium and high-value, high-risk procurements, including stakeholder engagement, supplier management, contract award, and compliance with public procurement regulations. The role has a delegated purchasing authority of approximately £2 million, may be based in Victoria Quay Edinburgh or Atlantic Quay Glasgow, and requires a commitment to CIPS Level 4 or an equivalent professional qualification.
