Description
The Procurement Specialist supports the Office of County Engineering by preparing specifications, price schedules, and solicitation documents; researching vendors and market trends; reviewing, executing, and negotiating contracts and purchase orders; providing technical procurement guidance; assisting with training and debriefings; and evaluating complex procurements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, at least four years of purchasing, procurement, or contracting experience, and knowledge of energy management, sustainability, and county procurement processes. It is a full-time, regular 40-hour-per-week position with medical, vision, and dental insurance and other benefits.
