Description
Datadog is hiring a Product and Engineering Technical Due Diligence Engineer to lead technical evaluation of startup acquisition opportunities in AI, cloud, and security. The role partners with Product, Engineering, Security, and C-level leadership to assess product fit, technical architecture, risks, proof-of-concept environments, and post-acquisition integration paths, while identifying and advancing M&A opportunities. It requires experience in product development, solution architecture, or engineering; a STEM degree or equivalent experience; broad cloud-technology knowledge; and strong communication and analytical skills. The role reports to the Senior Director of Product Strategy and offers a yearly salary of $200,000–$250,000 USD plus equity and benefits.
