Meta is hiring a Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to lead ambiguous hardware problems across research initiatives, products, and product families. The role owns mechanical architecture, critical components, and full-system design; drives technical direction and roadmaps; mentors engineers; and influences functional strategy. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least eight years of industry experience, expertise in complex electromechanical systems and the full product development lifecycle, and a record of solving novel technical problems.
