Description
The Product Design Engineer is a go-to expert in one area of user- or consumer-focused product design, applying engineering fundamentals, CAD tools, manufacturing knowledge, data analysis, troubleshooting, and systems thinking to complex product components, assemblies, and systems. The role owns or supports high- or moderate-complexity design areas, mentors junior engineers, participates in design reviews and cross-functional initiatives, and may present to management. It requires five years of experience designing mechanical components and five years using CAD tools, and is based in Mountain View, California, with a hybrid schedule of Tuesday through Thursday in the office and Monday and Friday remote.
