Description
Apple is hiring a Product Design Engineer to design tight-tolerance components for prototype systems, develop test infrastructure, characterize components and assembly processes, build prototypes for design validation, and drive failure analysis. The role also involves working on-site at contract manufacturers in India to implement and integrate iPhones at scale. Candidates need at least three years of mechanical design and consumer electronics design experience, knowledge of precision fabrication and tolerance analysis, and experience with DFM, DFA, and statistical tolerance analysis.
