Speak is hiring a Product Designer focused on consumer experiences for its AI-powered language-learning platform. The role shapes end-to-end learner-facing experiences across onboarding, activation, habit formation, retention, subscriptions, personalized learning, speaking practice, and motivation; prototypes with AI, code, or interactive tools; and collaborates with Product, Data, Research, and Engineering. The designer will use qualitative and quantitative signals, invent novel AI interaction patterns, and thrive in an ambiguous startup environment. The posting seeks 6+ years of product design experience, strong user empathy, structured judgment, AI-native workflows, communication skills, and a strong portfolio; language-learning, education, cross-cultural, prototyping, design-systems, and agentic-workflow experience are preferred.
