Description
Ford is hiring a Software Design & Release Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and release embedded software for intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) LIN Sensors that monitor 12V and 48V battery systems. The role manages the software lifecycle for BMS LIN Sensor modules, translates functional and safety requirements into supplier specifications, reviews supplier designs and validation reports, monitors delivery, resolves defects, and supports vehicle integration and testing. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and at least three years of automotive embedded software, supplier, communication-protocol, cybersecurity, and software-process experience. It is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence four or more days per week, with a base salary range of $99,600 to $166,600 and no visa sponsorship.
