Description

The Front Closures Design & Release Engineer is responsible for developing new automotive front-closure systems, resolving quality issues, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities. The role requires a mechanical, aerospace, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, or related engineering degree, at least three years of automotive or aerospace experience, direct ownership of part and system engineering and part release, and proficiency with 3D CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, manufacturing processes, supplier management, and design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly principles. The engineer will also work with design studios, lead design reviews, support launches, and apply CAE and quality tools as needed.
