The role involves designing and developing fiber-optic connectors, performing opto-mechanical simulations, creating 3D solid models, drafting engineering drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, executing test plans, conducting environmental and reliability testing, analyzing test data, implementing design improvements, supporting prototype development, and documenting test procedures.
