Description
Ford is hiring a Differential and Hypoid Gear Design Engineer to lead design and release activities for current and future axle applications, including hypoid gears, differentials, eLocker components, ring gears, and differential joints. The role supports Sterling Axle Plant, manages prototypes, PPAP, supplier delivery, testing, failure analysis, and program milestones, and leads cross-functional teams. An engineering degree, GD&T, CAD, and gear-design knowledge are required; experience with hypoid and bevel gears, WERS, Teamcenter, and prior launch experience is preferred. The position is hybrid, may require onsite work four or more days per week, and offers salary grades 5 through 8 with ranges from $65,100 to $166,200.
