indie is hiring a Fiber Laser Engineer to join its multidisciplinary R&D team and contribute to the design, testing, integration, characterization, and production support of fiber lasers and ultrafast laser systems. The role involves developing and validating laser system assembly processes, designing test setups, documenting results, and improving system performance and reliability. Candidates need a college-level education in physical engineering technology or a related field, at least three years of experience in optics, photonics, or complex-system integration, laboratory and experimental experience, optical-system integration experience, laser characterization and measurement experience, and proficiency in French; English is an asset.
