Lam Research is hiring a Product Engineer to manage the full life cycle of electrostatic chucks and related hardware for plasma etchers, including new-product introduction, design, qualification, manufacturing, reliability, testing, customer support, and field issues. The role leads a small team of engineers and lab personnel, coordinates design and risk reviews, and develops process improvements. Candidates should have a relevant Ph.D. or substantial experience with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, semiconductor or product-design experience, capital-equipment testing experience, and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing languages. The position offers hybrid On-site Flex or Virtual Flex work arrangements and a San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $104,000 to $231,000.
