Description
The Product Engineer leads the design, development, testing, and production support of new products, including automotive exterior lighting. The role reviews drawings, schematics, prototypes, and test results; identifies product improvements; develops solutions to weaknesses; coordinates with program, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer teams; and ensures products meet specifications and development plans. The position requires at least three years of automotive industry experience, preferably in exterior lighting, a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, and knowledge of automotive quality and product development processes such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, DVP&R, and Control Plans.
