Description
The Product Engineer will maintain the dimensional integrity of an assigned portfolio of investment-cast aerospace components, develop and validate tooling, fixtures, gauges, dimensional qualification packages, control plans, and FMEA, and lead continuous-improvement activities focused on cost reduction, scrap and rework yield, and manufacturing efficiency. The role also addresses customer escapes, manufacturing issues, defect evaluation, statistical analysis, NPI activities, and cost modeling. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and three years of engineering experience are required; Six Sigma certification and analytical, communication, and statistical skills are preferred. The position is based in La Porte, Indiana, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
