Description
The Product Engineer will maintain the dimensional integrity of an assigned portfolio of investment-cast aerospace components, develop and validate tooling, fixtures, gauges, dimensional qualification packages, control plans, and FMEA, and lead continuous-improvement activities focused on cost reduction, scrap and rework yield, and manufacturing efficiency. The role also addresses customer escapes, manufacturing issues, defect evaluation, statistical analysis, NPI activities, and customer design reviews. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least one year of engineering experience are required; three years of experience and Six Sigma certification are preferred. The position is based in La Porte, Indiana, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
