OBE is hiring a Production Engineer to translate complex glass, glazing, and architectural metal orders into precise manufacturing, procurement, and project-management instructions. The role involves interpreting customer contracts, entering orders, producing technical drawings and verification documents, sourcing quotes, managing variances and change orders, maintaining records, and supporting process engineering. Candidates should have strong math, keyboarding, attention-to-detail, technical-drawing, Excel, Word, Access, and CAD skills; an associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred, along with familiarity with SoftTech V6 or similar order-entry systems. The position pays $50,000–$65,000 USD and includes benefits, paid time off, holidays, training, and performance-based compensation.
