Description
The Product Engineer interprets architectural drawings, approvals, and project requirements to prepare product applications, bills of materials, and manufacturing drawings for custom architectural window projects. The role uses AutoCAD, ERP, Excel, and configuration software; supports manufacturing by troubleshooting engineering issues; and may visit test labs or job sites. Responsibilities include analyzing sales, estimating, production, and engineering requirements; producing accurate output; communicating with manufacturing and other departments; and maintaining safety and process-improvement standards. A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate’s degree, related software knowledge, strong mathematics skills, problem-solving ability, and aluminum window experience are preferred.
