Description
The role owns the PV module product from design and bill of materials through certification, reliability, and cost per watt, bridging engineering, production, supply chain, and customer activities. Responsibilities include managing module specifications and constructional documentation, leading new product introduction, qualifying materials and components, driving IEC and UL certification, improving power class and reliability, and analyzing field and warranty data. The position requires an engineering degree, at least three years of PV or electronics manufacturing product or module engineering experience, knowledge of PV module construction and failure modes, qualification and reliability testing experience, BOM and CAD skills, and comfort working across design and the production floor.
