Esri is hiring an ArcGIS IPS Software Engineer at its R&D Center in Vienna, Austria. The role involves translating user requirements into ArcGIS Indoor Positioning System products, contributing to design, documentation, testing, release, and deployment, and supporting technical support. Responsibilities include designing GIS capabilities, writing help topics, executing manual and automated tests, developing Python test scripts, and coordinating with team members. The position requires at least two years of software testing or development experience in an agile environment, familiarity with ArcGIS or other GIS and mapping products, experience with C++, Kotlin, Swift, or Python, strong English communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
