Description
The Design Assistant supports the area supervisor, engineer, and PLS or Design Engineer with data collection, CAD drawing and model preparation, project status reporting, industrialization, cost-out, process improvement, Lean and quality tools, work instructions, control plans, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, material measurements, engineering requests, and 5S. The role also requires EHS training and compliance with safety standards. Candidates need engineering, technologist, or related education; intermediate English and PC skills; and at least six months of manufacturing or operational support experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:40 AM–3:48 PM.
