Description
Tailscale is hiring a Product Manager to own the developer experience for Tailscale-native applications, including TSNet, the Rust SDK family, the tailscale CLI, and the core client library. The role defines reference architectures, golden paths, APIs, documentation, examples, and developer onboarding flows; sets the Rust SDK strategy; treats the CLI as a product; runs internal dogfood testing; and partners with GTM, Customer Success, and developers. Candidates should have at least six years of product management experience or a software engineering background moving into product, with experience on developer-facing products, and should be able to read Go and/or Rust. The role offers a base salary of CAD 237,180–296,140, equity, variable commission for quota-based roles, and comprehensive benefits.
