Description
OpenAI is hiring a Product Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing strategy and execution for next-generation AI hardware, with a focus on PCBA manufacturing, assembly, process development, yield improvement, and production readiness. The role partners with design, systems, operations, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and other stakeholders to move products from concept and prototype through NPI and high-volume production, while managing manufacturing risks, automation, test methodologies, quality controls, and readiness reviews. The position is based in San Francisco, California, with a hybrid model requiring three days in the office per week and relocation assistance.
