BAE Systems is hiring a Product Owner-Innovation for Edgewing in the Reading area, with a hybrid working policy and a salary of £70,000+ depending on skills and experience. The role leads innovation within the data engineering domain by shaping future-state data architecture, data integration across engineering tools and ERP environments, and foundational data governance and transfer capabilities. The Product Owner will own the innovation backlog, translate architecture and integration needs into user-focused requirements, align stakeholders across data engineering and digital delivery, and use evidence-based prioritisation to evolve the roadmap. Candidates need experience in defence or another highly regulated industry, a technical leadership background, and familiarity with the full data and analytics technology stack across cloud, private cloud, and data warehousing from major vendors.
