Description
Apple is hiring a Product Quality Engineer to support product development through multiple phases, primarily at FATP sites. The role owns quality for high-visibility products, develops and implements quality plans, inspection tools, and systems, and manages incoming, process, and outgoing quality. Responsibilities include cross-functional corrective actions, supplier quality management, audits, yield and inspection evaluation, and readiness assessments. The position requires a BS or MS or equivalent experience, consumer product process and quality experience, strong corrective-action and failure-analysis skills, and English proficiency; project management, reliability, supplier management, and statistical process control experience are preferred. The role involves collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers, with variable working hours and weekend work.
