Description
The Product Quality Engineer will support Google's Platforms and Devices team by applying root-cause corrective action, defining data-collection activities, designing and qualifying manufacturing processes, conducting design-of-experiments and statistical process control, and managing quality escalations, failure analysis, first-article inspection, outgoing quality control, ongoing reliability, yield fallouts, customer complaints, and field failures across new-product-introduction phases. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience, five years of product quality development or manufacturing engineering experience with mobile or consumer electronics, two years of product quality engineering experience, and experience with consumer electronics and phone development and shipping products.
