Description
Lam Research is hiring a Product Safety Engineer to independently drive product safety activities for semiconductor capital equipment. The role covers system-level hazard analysis, risk assessments, regulatory and SEMI compliance, design-risk resolution, third-party certification support, maintenance and service procedures, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, field, and customer teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 5–10 years of experience applying safety standards and hazard analysis in semiconductor capital equipment or similar complex systems, and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, chemical, and personnel safety requirements. The role offers On-site Flex or Virtual Flex work models.
