1X is hiring a Product Security Engineer to secure its NEO humanoid robot end-to-end, including system services, operating systems, cryptographic infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines. The role audits code and systems, leads security initiatives, conducts penetration tests and threat modeling, designs secure boot and code-signing components, and helps define security architecture for robot provisioning and updates. Candidates need at least five years of product, offensive, or related security experience, strong Linux and systems-security knowledge, programming and code-auditing skills, and production penetration-testing experience.
