Interzero is hiring a Product Software Engineer (Back End Java) in Cologne to design and implement Java backends for evolving products, create domain models and reliable services, develop RESTful APIs and microservices, automate development workflows, and partner with frontend teams. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, participating in architecture sessions, and potentially leading a small squad. Candidates need at least five years of professional Java experience, knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, relational databases, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD, along with fluent English and a valid EU work permit.
