Description

Amperesand is hiring software developer interns for its Fall 2026 internship session to support real-time embedded software systems controlling energy conversion and flow in advanced power platforms. The intern will develop web applications and user interfaces with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; contribute to backend services and APIs using Go, Rust, or Python; and support testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and software quality. The role requires on-site work five days per week in San Francisco or Reno, with occasional travel, and offers a $20–$45 USD pay range plus incentive stock options and employee benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience with or willingness to learn backend development using Go, Rust, or Python
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and databases
Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices
