Description
Formic is hiring a Product Support Engineer to serve as the technical escalation point for Field Engineering and the internal expert for one to two assigned industrial automation system types. The role involves diagnosing complex field issues, reproducing failures, testing PLCs, robots, software, electrical systems, and configurations, developing troubleshooting plans, identifying fleet-wide trends, and escalating systemic product issues to Product Engineering. It is an in-office position in Bolingbrook, Illinois, or Oakland, California, requiring 7+ years of industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing equipment experience, and pays $42–$49 per hour.
