Astera Labs is hiring a Senior Director or Associate Vice President, Product Technical Lead (Chip Lead) to own the end-to-end technical lifecycle of its next-generation UALink switching products in San Jose or Israel. The role leads chip architecture, RTL-to-GDSII development, tapeout, signoff, validation, DFT, physical design, packaging, and cross-functional execution, while establishing scalable processes and engineering culture. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, at least 15 years of relevant experience, and a proven record of successfully taping out large-scale chips; the base salary is $260,000 to $295,000.
