Description
The role involves loading, aligning, clamping, drilling, trimming, and assembling aircraft parts and sub-assemblies using jigs, templates, and physical reference points. It also includes installing shims, stiffeners, doublers, and performing reaming, countersinking, milling, routing, bolting, torquing, safety wiring, cutting, filing, fitting, burring, painting, sealing, bonding, and spotfacing. The position requires blueprint interpretation, electronic work instructions, hand-tool familiarity, and at least twelve months of production assembly or mechanical experience, with a noon-to-10:30 p.m. shift schedule.
