Description
The Tooling Operator operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble tooling, including Zollar tool-setting machines, cutting tools, CNC tooling, and related machining processes. The role performs quality inspections, identifies non-conforming material, maintains clean and orderly work areas, completes operator care and maintenance, and supports production goals and continuous improvement. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, some work experience or intermediate knowledge, and knowledge of tooling, machining, inspection, ERP or SAP systems, Excel, and workplace organization; additional knowledge of surface grinding, lathe, radial drilling, and Walter tool sharpening is advantageous.
