Sonoco is hiring a Production Associate for its Wood Reels division in Jefferson, Texas. The role works the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. second shift, reports to a shift supervisor, and involves operating and monitoring a packing line, troubleshooting problems, adjusting processes, maintaining quality and safety standards, learning new jobs and lines, and supporting other departments. The position requires at least one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. Pay is $19.18 per hour plus a $1 shift differential, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
