Description
The Production Control Buyer/Planner serves as the operational link between customer demand, purchasing, production, outside processing, inventory, and shipment. The role manages customer schedules, production plans, material and component purchasing, outside-processing coordination, shortages and bottlenecks, ERP/MRP data, supplier performance, estimating support, and cross-functional recovery actions. It requires 2–5 years of experience in production planning, buying, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management, along with manufacturing, ERP/MRP, Excel, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
