Description
The Production Control Specialist monitors manufacturing part availability, customer and plant shortages, shipping expedites, railcar and truck movements, inventory status, and service-part requirements. The role coordinates with scheduling, CMMS, PAARS, and shipping operations to resolve shortages and protect customer production. It requires at least two years of manufacturing production-control or materials-management experience, knowledge of materials planning and SAP, and an associate degree; manufacturing plant experience and Lean Manufacturing are preferred.
