Description
The Production Cook prepares large quantities of food for various meal programs in a commercial kitchen, following recipes, menus, production schedules, and quality standards. The role also directs food preparation, manages supplies and equipment, maintains sanitation and temperature logs, supports inventory and purchasing, and assists with kitchen cleaning. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of food handling or food service experience, a food handler's permit, and a valid driver's license. The position pays $24.25 per hour and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
