The Truss Fabrication Data Preparation Specialist converts engineering data into shop fabrication data and releases jobs to the production line. Responsibilities include creating cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings, electronic files, job folders, cutting reports, automated saw and projection fabrication files, work orders, and production files; updating scheduling status; retrieving built information; and closing production files. The role requires a high school diploma or GED or 18 months of truss fabrication experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and knowledge of the truss manufacturing process.
